I got my VC off and the damn tube seals don't want to come out. Im thinking about taking it to my mech and having him remove them. You guys have any tips on getting them out?

Flathead screw driver worked for me...

 

Thats how what I tried. Is there a metal ring in the seals? Also, the car has 137,000 miles and never has had this done.

try a rubber mallet and just tap back and forth, thats how I took mine off.

 

Gotta tap it from the side and it pops out.
