Default Are ADR rims a good brand name to get?

I am thinking of getting 17 inch rims, and after much looking, it seems that ADR is among the prettiest and the cheapest priced rims. I want to know if anyone has ever had them before or if they had any troubles with them. Some comments would be very helpful..

Also, does it matter if you get rims that aren't exactly 40 offset? I see some that is 48 offset and i wonder if it will fit right on my 40 offset Neon.....and what does hub bore refer to? i never heard that term before. ( i know i am not too knowledgable about wheels)

Here are some links.

and these are blue ones that id like to get to match my blue Neon. but the offset is 48

So what do you guys think??

i have adr wheels. I like mine but what i noticed is that the finish peels off pretty quickly, it starts to flake off. It also happened to a friend of mine that had ADR wheels as well.

Yeh you're right, i do notice that the paint job is a little cheesy. How long have you been having those wheels before they start to chip?

Are those rims in your profile pic ADR's?

Wouldn't you be able to just re-paint them?

Yes they are the one's on my sig. They started peeling after a month or two and also the center cap turns a yellowish color. I kept them as clean as possible and it still did it. About painting them, I have never asked about that

Very cool!!! haha...I actually was leaning towards getting those too.
So do they hold up at high speeds well?
And when you bought them, would i have to get different lugs, or do the stock lugs fit right?

After going with my last barely known brand wheels, I wouldn't do it again.

i wouldn't call ADR barely known.. i've seen a lot of cars with ADR rims on them.... and i actually didn't buy the rims.. i got the car with the rims on it... but i think the lugs are the same... but definitely get locks for it..
as for the high speeds i've only been 105 mph but as far as i could tell they were fine.. they didn't fall off or anything lol :P
