Hi all ... I am thinking of buying a 2002 Neon for $2k ... there is nothing wrong with the car except that the tranny needs to be rebuilt. Does anyone know what I might be looking at ballpark to have it rebuilt? Thanks!!

 

i have always had continuous problems with transmitions after a rebuild job. your best bet would be to buy new and just do a swap for the old. saves alot of down time on the car as well. plus your warranty on the tranny will be better.
