Can be very dependable, as long as it is built right, maintenanced right... other than that, once the solution is mixed, all you need is water. Check the off-topic thread to see pre-test photos.
My only prob I can see coming is, I need stainless nuts... I have stainless plates and stainless threaded rod that you see in the photo, but the nuts are plated steel from what I noticed... during my test run under only 3 amps, those nuts corroded instantly and turned the water brown... thats my only frawback so far (the impurities limit the efficiency of the hydrogen/oxygen production). I only need stainless nuts on the oxy side, which corroded. The hydrogen side is fine... since hydrogen does not corrode iron-based metals.
