So how much would a shop (not dealer) change for a timing belt job? (labor, assuming I get the parts). And what would the total $ be like?

I am thinking about buying a 2004 Neon SE, it has just done 102K. So the timing belt service would fall on me if I buy it.

You already have a thread going asking this same question. Don't get 2 or more threads going about the same thing please. Where's a mod...
