need help
"Most Cheap" stuff:
New spark plugs
Spark plug wires
Full synthetic oil (Mobil1, Redline, Pennzoil Platinum, Royal Purpleare all good)
K&N air filter or...
Cold air intake tube if you can find a cheap one, with the K&N filter on the end of it
"Mildly cheap" stuff:
Replace stock muffler with a decent glass-pack or other quality high-flow exhaust. Make sure stock exhaust tubing or aftermarket tubing is mandrel-bent with no pinches, restrictions, too many bends, etc. Also make sure not to under-size or over-size the exhaust. 2 1/4" is fine front-to-back.
Under-drive pulley on the crankshaft
Small serpentine belt if you want to bypass the AC... if not, skip it
Long-tube headers
More expensive stuff:
Turbo kit, can get one parted out for less than $1000, new kits start at $1995, decent kits with a nice intercooler run $2500and higherfrom the factory
Nitrous kit, best is a "wet" system... not for the faint of heart or novice, and not recommended for daily drivers, although it can be done (except for the "novice" part).
