Possibly it could be sensor is bad. could be your wire has gone loose. we had a neon in the other day. replaced the sensor and the code came back. well then we checked the wiring it was one of the pins in the conector came loose. fixed for him for free.

finally glad to see something i know about!! i had the same problem at about 85,000 miles. cost me 30 bucks for the sensor at autozone. did it myself but it was a pain in my a$$. looked plain and simple, 4 bolts for the sensor. my car ran really funny and was puking on me all over, in every gear. but about every 3rd time i started it, no problems. so to replace, it is on the right side of the engine. i had to take the battery out, and the battery tray to get to the last bolt on the bottom, in the back. so take the battery out and save yourself the trouble. hope this helps. only sensor ive had to replace so far and i have almost 94k on it now.
