Default Tie Rod help

So I got new tires and I need a new tie rod. Doesn't really surprise me...however, i don't want to pay the conrads 150 to do it. I would like to do it myself and have them align it afterwards. I was looking for a thread that might have a how to or something but I didn't find anything. Suspension is new to me...i haven't worked on it before. Any help? Thanks.

btw, i don't now if this is against the rules but I was trying to find the 2nd gen forum. Everytime I want to go there I seem to forget the site address. can someone give it to me?
