I checked the code and it came up: P0522, which is for the oil pressure sensor/switch circuit low voltage. What does this mean, and how much is it going to cost to fix? Im taking it to the dealer tommorow to get fixed. The car has been sitting in my drivway for about 5months while i was away at basic training, and now that im stationed up here at Ft Drum NY, i need my car. Please let me know if there is any thing i can do to fix this or what they will have to do to fix it. Also, my left blinker is going a lot faster than my right, does anyone know what could be wrong?

 

check ur brake lights for the blinker don't ask just do it its kinda like a warning that a light is going out, the sensor is on the back of your block right above the headers its a green plug, u can change it out your self but u'll need a special deep socket... very deep probly about 3 inch deep, i just took mine out with channel locks and added an aftermarket oil PSI gauge throws no CEL either even though i deleted it

 

unfortunatley i just got to Ft Drum and i have absolutley no tools with me to fix this, ill just havr to take it to the dealer and see what they can do for me. Thanks for the help though.

 

well for the light u can do it your self just have some1 hit the brakes and look at all ur lights, w/e side is blinking fast should be the side the lights out on

 

I started the car this morning and the CEL wasn't on, I hope there is nothing wrong but im still taking it in on wednesday to have it checked out. The car drove fine all day.

 

The CEL is now back on, but now the code is P 0340 which is for the camshaft position sensor, what could be wrong with that?
