Hi all,i just had my auto tranny failed on a hayway.I had been to airport and on the return gearbox threw a wobbla,started to make a noise,then a thud and lost drive.The car was perfect before that.Do you have any idea what happend and what i need to fix it as a parts?Thank you in advance,George.

 

My torque converter just went out. They want 800 to fix it, so I said **** it am swapping to manual.[8D]

 

I think something has snapped in the box as gear will engage, and can here the trans turning,thre is a grinding noise, as if the drive to the diff has broken.Is it a torque converter?

 

I have a 2005 atx with 20,xxx miles on it and the torque convertor to match for $400 but I'm in Dallas
