Default PaceSetter VS Borla

I just want to know everyones experience with both of these exhaust systems. Since I am in the business of purchasing one of these today or tommorow. I would like to know about the sound/quality/ and performance probably none but if you felt a slight increase in power. Thanks in advance guys any info would help.

Pacesetter is a POS. End of story. tried to install it on the 01 neon I had and ended up using just the muffler which feel apart within a year internally. Save your money and get the Borla.

It would be worth it in the long run. The quality, materials, and engineering (if there was any) sucked dog ***** on the Pacesetter.

I have never had a problem with my Pacesetter on my 98, i have had it for almost a year, it sounds and performs great. The borla is a better system, but bang for the buck the Pacesetter wins at half the price.

The Pacesetter sounds great but the crafsmanship isn't the best. Borla cat-back will probably give u more hp too. U can compare the sound of the 2 exhaust systems but not the quality. My next car will have a Borla. I say, If you want to save money get the Pacesetter if you want the best, get the Borla.
I like my Pacesetter exhaust system though. I think mopartodd had bad luck with his product.[X(]

There are a few posts about the Pacesetter a few pages back if u want to check it out.[&:]

I just purchased a Borla Cat Back but am working with them on getting the Front Line Assembly pipe refitted for my 03 Neon SXT. Despite some of my fellow Dodge owners, all I have read (and heard) was bad things about the Pacesetter family of exhausts. The price is definitely better but I am not pleased with the sound quality. Let me restate, I am not a fan of the Pacesetter sound quality. Some may like it, some not.

I have NOT been able to get my Borla on yet until they get that piece shipped to me but I will give Borla credit, they have been working with me to resolve the problem VERY WELL and would recommend them.

Price:

I would do some Internet surfing, I think I saw a sight (AutoAnything.com) I believe that had it for $469 + $35 shipping and handling. I am NOT sure if that is the correct site but will try to post again if I can verify. I definitely know the price is right though b/c I got another company to match (including the frieght of course ). Mine ended up coming to about $529.00 ($699 MSRP).

I love the look of the exhaust and am hoping that it will produce a very clean sound with some HP gains.
