Im looking at a used 2004 SXT with 19,000 miles, it is certified pre-owned and has an 8 yr/80k mile warranty for $9900

from what i understand it was a rental car and for some reason is for sale at a dodge dealership now

what kind of things should i look for/be aware of when looking at this car? i drove it and it drove ok, i didnt see or feel anything that would make me worry

the only thing that is eatting me is the fact that it was a rental and is now up for sale at 19k miles, but for less than $10k its a little hard to pass up

im new to the dodge scene and could use some help

what should i be looking for or ask the dealer before i buy this car?

 

look at various parts of the car, make sure nothing's visibly broke. maybe have a mechanic you trust check it out, etc

The thing I have to say about that, is when I got mine the dealer I got mine from was advertising mine, Brand New for 10,000. And I check all the time just to look and teh other weekend they had their 05's for about that price.

Today I bought a Silver 04 Dodge Neon SXT with 15,000 miles on it. The car was a rental car and i ended up having to pay a little over 8k for it. Its got power everything, foglights, spoiler cd player everything. So yeah haggle the guy especially since it is a rental and make sure to check on the warranty bc dodge doesnt honor their warranty on rentals.
