mat and karr,you guys should do this cause if there is rust then it needs to be found and treated.iowa will vouch for me that the look is alot sharper and clean.i used a plastic scrapper and they didnt flake.just do it and you'll love it
Neon is very correct about this one. Regardless of the outcome or appearance, you still have to face the fact that if there is a problem under there, it needs to be exposed and handled before it grows into something more problematic.
I know where you guys are coming from. I didnt think there would be a rust problem since paint covers everything, but I guess i will take your advice and do it soon.
matt it was the ankle[:'(]. And it is alot better, thx for asking. Still not 100%, maybe 60-70%. I'll check it soon but i thought it would be ok on the older ones since we have the better adhesive.
Just remember paint breathes over time... especially with temperature changes. Anything that gets trapped up against that can hold moisture can affect it over time...
