yo guys i havn't made a post in a while and btw ill be putting up frestvideos of my neon cause i have a better camera so be thinking thursday they will be up.
but heres my question.i have bigger than stock tires on my neon.they're 195 and i was thinking how big you can go.i dont want to put spacers on my lugs cause thats not good for your car.and im wanting a fat low profile tire instead of a tall one.and all of us have the same stuff base wise so any opinions???

Well, 205 is the widest I would go on a 17-inch... heard of people squeeking by with 215s, but not all tire manufacturers 215s are the same... some narrower, some wider... so I wouldnt risk it unless you use a spacer.

Actually that goes for 15s as well... not sure on the height ratio though... 215 on a 15 may be okay, not sure. Tirerack.com can tell you though...

 

ok dude thanx for the help.i need to get tires before winter.lol.but ill stick with 205.and i have a 15 now so ill swich tread on em and wait till spring to put the new ones one w/ the tread.this summer is half way done so im planning ahead.ill end up getting the rims but they're not going out in the cold/fall/F*** that.LOL

205's on a 17" rim will work fine, I have 205/40/17 Yokohama parada's. They fit good and handle great (a little loose in the rear till they where broke in), I highly recommend these tires if your going 17's you wont be sorry.

 

yea dude they look ok and nice and cheap....but its made by a good manufacturer so im not worried(dont buy generic.LOL
