just try the gored area first if it wont look good just find another wheel... individually they are cheap enough

Okay guys my gorilla glue trick gave me 5 mins to take these pics.
I hope you enjoy them because Iwas outside in the rain putting the old 18's back on.

I should have all the wheels done by tommorrow night, yay!

Ok here is the current progress of wheel 3, 30 mins ago:


And wheel 4 is coming along slow and surely.
I am just going to have to deal with the fact it has little grooves in the lip of the wheel, I did my best to remover the bulk of it but the deep gouges will have to stay. Maybe the clear coat will make it blend in with the wheel better.

I like how good you are with the painters tape. I know that takes a lot of time to tape off. Well they look good and worth the effort.

looks great man... are you cutting all your tape 90 degrees with a razor blade after you lay the tape on the rim? Just curious.

Get those babies clearcoated and protect all that hard work!
