What size pipeing is beast for a 2000 Neon, that will allow it to breath better and give power as appose to taking power.I was looking at the Pacesetter Catbackexhaust. What are your thought's on this?
i would roll with 2 and 1/4 inch piping because 2 and 1/2 is too big and wont create any back pressure and u need a little back pressure
i put custom 2 and 1/4 inch piping and gained more hp than when i had 2 and 1/2

I have the catback pacesetter dual on my 98 neon and so far I havent had trouble with it. I think mine is 2 1/2 piping. It looks and sounds great. You're not gonna feel much of a difference in power but u can tell some. I have heard that some ppl dont like the pacesetter system. Problems with fitment was wat i heard but I didnt bother doing it just gota shop to do it for $50.

I also have the Pacesetter exhaust system. I do believe the 2 1/4 will give you more power especially when you have the basic mods or just beginning to upgrade. One of the best exhaust systems is the Borla exhaust system which is 2 1/4 for the Neons. Later down the line, if you have lots of mods and are pushing alot of hp out of your engine the 2 1/2 might be more benefitial for your performance.
