first time, took me a long time to figure out it was that flat, black plastic piece that mounts up under the front bumper...the screws had pulled loose and it was actually 'flapping' in the wind, dropping all the way to the pavement, then back up.
first time I just re-screwed it in...happened again today... this time I knew what it was and replaced the screws with bigger, longer ones.

anyone else?... never happened before the lip kit, but I've only had the car since 2006

Ive had mine on for3 months now and havent had that prob, actually I never put screws into that piece when I put it on. Ive never heard a sound from it, been up to 100mph with it on. I am gonna have to take it off and get it repainted though, it was origonally blaze red and I u s e d duplicolor spray paint to match it to my car but, everywhere anything has touched it I have red showing through so it looks l ik e its bleeding.lol I have a friend whos gonna do it for free, i just have to stop being lazy and take it off the car so he can do it.

the front edge of mine is all scraped up now, but it's underneath so its ok.
I don't remember unscrewing this thing or what I had to do with it when I had the front bumper cover off-putting on the lip, so I thought maybe this would be a heads up for anyone installing the front lip..to make sure all the screws get back in that thing

thought maybe...far-fetched idea... that it had to do with the airflow because I put on the front lip, but not the rear lip

hmmm ...well the kits come with the mounting hardware and the instructions

but you 'just' ordered one? from ?

the kits consist of front and rear, the the side skirts.

last I heard, there were no more side skirts left (these have been on clearance)

Sounds to me liek possibly you are getting some air pressure building between your front lip or sides, and "thwapping" away up and down against the body perhaps as you drive (not fastened properly?)... other than that, I have no idea...
