I was in autobarn and saw a cherry bomb muffler thing. It sounds like its for 8 cyl cars but would it work on a neon. I have to redo my exhuast b/c my razzi rear bumper is comming in and its lower in the rear. Any suggestions on what to do about my exaust would be great. It probley has to be droped down a few inches unless i take it off. But dont have alout of $ left to buy a new one.

who cares.. everything is legal in my mind. Im not sure though.

 

cherrybombs come in all different pipe diameters so yes it will work on your neon, dunno how it will sound. i have them on my 76 dodge truck that has a 6.6l big block with no cats and its loud as crap. on my neon i have a summit sport compact muffler 2.25 in 4.75exit (actuall muffler exit diamter is 4.75', not just a 4.75' tip) and its pretty loud (louder when i take my cat off here in the next couple months)

I dont know just exactly what your rear end will look like but the only thing you can do is just take off your muffler you have now, see what the new rear end looks like and then custom make your own or have someone else make you a system...

 

well eather i was going to customize it and make it come out one side off the back.(my old muffler)
or i was going to put a glasspack/or resonator in the middel right after the cat and run a straight exhaust with nouthing comming out the back. I dont no about the back pressure tho. If ic an run a resononator with no exhuast i will do that but i want to make somthing custom that no one has. Catch my drift.....
