i just bought a set of 17 inch rims from a friend. they are 5 lug which is the same as my neon. the problem is, is that the spacing of my lug nut dont fit the rims spacing. is there anything i can do to get them to fit? and what would be the cost?

Those are the oem ALY2193 wheels there is no reason that they should fit unless your wheel hubs were somehow changed to a different bolt pattern such as 5x114???

Did you just try slapping the wheel on? sometimes you have to work at it.

Edit: if you are reffering to the wheels in the pic being 17's, they aren't they're only 15's..

 

I am guessing that the rims you bought from your friend have too large diameter of a bolt pattern like srtgtr34 hinted at... if thats the case, you wont be able to use them on your Neon. It will be cheaper and easier just to get different rims.

I'd say there is nothing you can do about the changing the spacing...just won't work.

don't know what is up with the picture of the Neon he posted, those are OEM Neon wheels....he must be talking about a different set

 

Well he said he bought 17"s... and those are obviously the SXT 15"s. He also said the 17"s wont fit on the lugs, so again it couldnt be those in the photo no matter what the rims looked li ke lol.

Sorry about your luck dude, but the wheels just wont work on your car... there really is no practical way to fix that except get different rims.
