NEW Official 2nd-Gen Off-topic Thread
Pasgaines if that is what you are looking for, then I say go for it. It's not my cup of tea, but I would say it defeinitely looks better than the cheap Ebay knock-offs witht he thin vinyl. If it's 7-year vinyl, go for it.
KARR (and pasgaines if interested) yes I "found it" online... 99% of the crap online is crap though... but some small record store in France decided to sell a few copies of it early the other day. One of the copies that got sold, the guy that bought it immediately put it online, saved in 320kbps form... CD quality. It's getting cracked down on now too... so you probably will not find the whole thing, anywhere. I got lucky when I "saw it" ... lol... so send me your email if you want to know more "hint" .... lol

pasgaines, you don't even need a heat gun to take off the side-moldings, as you may already know. The strips bend really easy (they are foam rubber believe it or not...) ... the pinstripe may not require a heat gun either.
i have read on DF someone suggested a heat gun or hairdryer, what am i supposed to just peel them off,and i just heard my apocalypse and it sound like a bunch off loder songs jammed into one somehow if that makes sense,i found 7 song on my file sharing program which i am a paying member.
You can find those file sharing sites for free.
Now to remove your moldings:
First spray them with some WD-40 and let it soak for 10mins. (it helps if its warm out)
Second take a PLASTIC scraper (like for paint, putty, etc) and wrap a terry or microfiber cloth around it so that it still shows the shape of the scraper.
Third start at the end where the door opens and spray a little more WD-40 for lubrication and push the scraper with one hand and pull/peel away the molding with the other hand. If the scraper doesnt slide along easily (which it should) then stop and spray it again with the WD-40 and wait a few more minutes.
Fourth clean off the adhesive residue with some Goo Gone and also some WD-40 and you can use your fingernail. Thats how I removed mines.

he he RIGHT... but funny.
And as far as Death Magnetic... Apocalypse (track 10) is probably the worst song on the album IMO. Tracks 3-7 are my favorite FTW.
1 - That was Just Your Life (listen to how it starts, just like Battery)
3 - Broken, Beat, and Scarred (heavy and fast)
4 - The Day that Never Comes (last 3 minutes rip)
6 - Cyanide (they put this song together VERY VERY nicely)
7 - Unfogiven III ... (I rolled my eyes when I read this title, but the production that went into it, and Kirk's solo in the bridge section are very very good)
dude, I have the 320kbps CD copy... I probably don't have to point out that they finally (after 17 years) also tuned their guitars back to standard like in the 80's... and the rif***e in some of those songs, especially in Track 3, are typical 80's riff stuff...

I wonder what kind of wax job they do?
