He he sorry...
Oh and on a sidenote, glad you guys are happy with Vista... I assume anyway.
My work computer could definitely handle it, but the protocol here at work is XP Pro... the IT doesnt trust it yet I dont think.
I would put Vista on my computer I built at home, but I am happy with my XP Pro setup there as well (AMD 3500+ OC'd to 2.6 Ghz, 2 GB RAM, 2 160 GB RAID, EVGA 7600 512MB graphics overclocked 20%)... its about 2 years old now, and all I use it for most of the time is surfing the net, or copying/burning DVDs... once in a while for SolidWorks 3D modeling for something for work or a side-project at home, but never anything too resource-intensive on a regular basis... not much gaming anymore. So it suits me just fine for now.

I am using XP Pro as well. I haven't ever tried vista before. My desktop is getting old...lol, about 5 years since I did a complete rebuild. I did upgrade cpu/motherboard a little over a year ago. Intel Pentium D 3.2ghz dual core, 2gb of ram, 256mb vid card, couple huge hard drives. LOL. It does everything I want it to, or else I would have upgraded already. I don't play any games on here really. Probably the most demanding thing I do on it is photoshop/photomatix/image editing.
