You lift vehicles that are 4 wheel drive for clearance not big rims. Big rims are a waste of money. Low profile tires are only good for turning. Put some side wall on the tires so it can give for traction and better ride quality. I blame this on movies like fast and the furious where it's cool and better to have big rims, low profile tires, and big pointless and useless spoilers on a fwd vehicle. Want some down force on your fwd then put a spoiler on the hood off a sprint car or something. See how cool you are then oh wait people will point and laugh but hey you can say my car needs down force at high speeds or it breaks the tires loose.
