How to program two new keyless remotes without original remote
We bought a 2001 Dodge Neon ES from a fellow who had also bought it used. He says when he purchased the car, he never was given a keyless remote; thus, we were never given a keyless remote.
My brother who works at a Dodge dealership was able to give me two remotes based on the car's VIN. Due to time, money, and distance constraints, we have not been able to get them programmed at a dealership.
We have tried programming the remotes ourselves using the instructions in the owner's manual, but the instructions have not worked.
Is it possible to program two new remotes without a pre-existing, working remote?
