Recently my friend put in those stupid lights under the dashboard and he had screwed into the EVAP box and puncutred the evaporator and out goes all the freon. GREAT!!

Well today I put a can of stop leak in and i guess it formed around the screw and now its holding pressure.

I charged the AC as much as it took. It wouldnt take anymore than like 1 can.

Thing is the A/C if on full blast, the fan comes on, but the clutch on the a/c compressor does not engage.

I checked the fuse and the relay and they are fine.

What else should I do????

I know thats right. ^^^ Well theres your answer. If you those dashboard lights are "stupid" why did you let him put them in?

 

Must be peer pressure got to him. I'll third the making him pay for a shop to fix it for his screw up.

 

Its the only right thing to do.
