On my way to work thurs night my clutch all of a sudden would not dis-engage. I had to drive the car 20miles home without the clutch which was pretty fun. Just pulled the trans today after work and saw the fingers on the pressure plate are all f'd up. The throw out bearing has alot of play in it also. At first I thought it was just a stretched cable but nope. Im glad I have two cars so I can drive the other one for now.

I plan on putting a stock clutch in. How much do they normally run? I will probably go with this one. For 275 but I can get it for like 220ish. Does anyone here have this clutch?

You can find one for $220 on Ebay... do you prefer OEM, or are you willing to go aftermarket? For a few more bucks, I am a fan of Centerforce myself.

I would be willing to go aftermarket but I dont want to wait awhile for the clutch. I just bought a clutch at advanced yesterday. Its a perfection clutch made by the same manufacture that makes zoom clutches. I didnt really find any aftermarket clutches in the 300 price range. I paid 260 for the clutch, how much are the centerforces? Its just my beater car, I dont really have any reason to put a strong clutch in there. I am waiting to get my dads transmission jack till I put the tranny in. I took it out with a floor jack and that sucked.
