I have beat a civic vtech, it was close, but it was an auto too.

 

lol..yeah i beat a civic vtech 5sp it was close but i beat it but im not gonna lie i got owned by a 2 door accord 5 spd....i think it was like the biggest motor you can have in an accord stock besides the v6 models lol

 

I've gotten beaten by a V-6 accord coupe, circa 1999. Beat a new Civic Si but probably due to their poor driving skills, beat a Civic Ex 4-door (auto?) UPHILL.... That's it for me so far. Be careful of Cavalier coupes mainly Z24's, I saw one run as fast as my old Supra one night at irwindale. Definitely NOT stock. My car seems pretty slow compared to all my other friends (WRX's, Mustangs, Etc.....) Dammit.

 

to take out the dash u pop out the air vents (just pull themm out) then there are two screws behind them kinda above
screw those out then pull the ***** for air conditioning ans air flow ( get a good grip)
or just tugg on it till they pop out and it should come off clean then paint the console upgrade deck so on and so forth simple like 10 mins top

yes i have beat some civics but not the si and anyways to make a civic fast u have to do a motor swap .And if the cavy is a z24 then ur beat but if not then u should win

 

Yea the z24 is a 6 cylander. My friend had a stock cavalier 2.4 i think. I had an intake and muffler and took him. It was close but i still beat him.

 

Ummm....maybe the 95-99 were but most of them now ARE 2.4 litre. if you got stomped by a cavvy in ur supra it prolly had the l84 2.4 litre with supercharger my friend has a green one w/ an automatic tranny that runs 12s.......has nos but never used b/c he is too afraid to. THE 2.4 is the Z24 the rs and stripped cavvys are 2.2 and some were Opal 2.0 ECOTECH w/ is what they carry in the COBALT SS minus the supercharger.....
