Default 2.0 to A older 2.2

Does anyone know of anyone that if the 2.2 turbo engine can be swaped in to a second gen. Neon? If it can be done does anyone know of anybody that has done it?

If that is the route you want to go, I would get a 2.4 SRT-4 or PT motor and do that, it will be about the same amount of work and better performance.

I know where I can get a complete engine w\ turbo for $125. Thats why I was asking.

yeah you can do it, your gonna need to fabricate mounts, you'll need the PCM and wiring harness. You are gonna have to do everthing custom. Don't expect to drop the motor in and have it run by any means.

Which turbo is it, because the Turbo I's only have 142 horsepower, the 2.0L DOHC has 150 horsepower, but the Turbo I has far more torque as well as far more weight. You would be better off with the 2.0L DOHC that the better Neons came with. However, if yur talking about a Turbo II or Turbo III then go for it, they have far more horsepower and torque and the added weight won't matter then.
