point blank, to make the neon fast (not counting srt) you need to go F.I. which is what this first post helps with, or be ready to dish out a lot of money to be "fast" all motor. I'm not hating on the neon because I have two (SE, SRT-4).

If i'm not mistaken, the 1st gen is a better platform to work with than 2nd gen.

Does anyone even post anything important on this section anymore? Nothing informative anymore just a bunch of BS

adionik has or had a neon lol. As far as neons having a bad wrap, it's true, how many times have you heard "o it's just a neon" among other things. It's not just adionik, his experience with the neon wasn't a good one, I'm sure there are a few things he likes about em.

I heard "its just a neon" when I was at the track with my SRT from both guys wanting to race me, and what happened, I didn't even see them anymore after i literally left them in my dust lmao.

neon03se.... i agree with u, but as for neons in general having a bad wrap the first gens do, due to the brake hoses, and headgasket problems they have had.... as for a second gens, lemons are made by any car... even caddys...

When I say neons have a bad rep as it is, that means you don't help the image at all when you do Airwolf **** like putting a huge *** vinyl on your door.

Well if you ask me that vinyl looks like something that could come from the factory. It says neon not like it says iceman,jdm, something around those lines.

Is this hurting our image as neon owners too? Because this is what i want mine to look like black with mopar all over it. Mopar is not rice by any means either.
