Well Im gettin ready to put my car in the garage for the winter and Im starting to look into getting some new parts. First thing on my mind is getting a cf hood. Now I like the one contagious has (vis invader) but I really wanna get the scoote 2 from ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodge...mZ280265130036) wasnt sure if either of these are a direct fit or is there gonna be a gap. Any info would be appreciated!!!

 

the direct fit depends on the latch, and what car it is made for. If it is made for your model neon 03-05 neon it will be direct. If made for a srt4 then there will be a gap. If its for a 00-02 im 99% sure it will be a direct fit

 

Yea I thought so It says for a 00 02 neon so I dont think there is a problem either. But I swear I have seen it on an srt4 before just cant find the pic!!! I will call tomorrow and let everyone know what I come up with. Apparently he makes everything overseas so we'll have to see.

 

for that price i really doubt its an actuall cf hood,some companys put a cf design and call it a cf hood,beware on what you buy

mine is a direct fit, made espescially for da neon. VIS invader hood FTW

 

I like the spyder one as well but cant stand the gap!! and i am gonna call tomorrow and find out about that hood. The as says 3x3 layer of cf so Ill have to see. Worse comes to worse Im gettin the one like contagious (vis invader) On his feedback he has sold a few and everyone seems to be happy about the quality of the carbon fiber. Find out tomorrow

 

Yea I thought so one of your earlier pics it almost looks like there is a gap between your parking light and hood. Maybe a very early pic when u were still workin on it. LOL. Just want to make sure I know what im getting into before I buy it. I found one for under 400 on Octane motorsports website. It has the VIS logo stamped on it so I l know its real

Na it was before they changed the whole site If I could put the pic on here i would. dont worry about it though I trust you. Now I just have to decide on which one I want. Has anyone heard of Octane motorsports??



also the scoote 2 hood is made out of 3K 2x2 twill carbon fiber. So Im guessing that means its real!!
