Hey you guys were really helpful i figured out how to take out my center console.....................how do i take off the stock shift boot? do i have to cut it? and also id like to paint my center console yello to match my car any reccomendatiosn on wut i can use?

 

no, you don't have to cut it off. there should be I believe 2 screws holding it on. Just take the center console off and look.

 

on my car... 2000, it wasnt held in by screws it was 3 of those little white clips... have to pull on it pretty hard, but they will pop out.
