Default TSB Question- PCM Reflash

http://www.ertyu.org/steven_nikkel/n.../18-024-05.pdf

Is this covered by any type of warranty (emissions? 8yr/80,000 miles)?

Under a TSB all youll have to pay is labor so depending on what your dealer is charging an hour. It could be anywhere from 50to 80 bucks. It pays .5 hours for Reflash.

My bad on the hours it pays .8 so you looking at parts 100-120 dollars. I know it retarded. Also I would check with your dealer because here we charge for TSB's Dont know why. Hope this helps you.

Well, he said it would be about an hour at something like $98/hr (I'm sure the city is less, may call down there and see). He then went on to say it could be much more because they may have to diagnose more things than just the ECU and of course, I would be charged for that. I'm not sure WTH else they would have to diagnose???

They don't call it the stealership for nothing.... On a side note, their is always a possibility that their could be other problems.

If your out of warr your out even if there wer parts involved you would pay.
The tsb says .8 to reflash thats warr time not cust pay time .Yes there is a difference between warr time and cust pay time. Most of the time we get for warr is 30%less of what it should pay

Are you having a problem? Is that why you think you need your pcm reflashed? I believe there is a reflash for 04's as well for the rpm bog that happens sometimes, but mine rarely does it so I am not going to bother wasting my money on it.

Yeah, I get the:
· RPM bump while driving when the A/C is turned on. (Constantly going up and down, seems to "bump" every 3-5 seconds or so).
· RPM sag on throttle tip-in or tip-out. (Does it sometimes, other times not).
