Default need info on gaskets...

whats up everyone,im new to this site,so i did a search, guess im stupid with searching, cau i cant ever find what i need,oh well.
heres the thing,my ex wifes 05 neon may need a new head gasket, and i know im gonna need the head bolts also, but whats the torque rating for the head bolts? and should i go with the arp bolt kit,or just auto zone stuff?
heres the story, shes throwing a p0301(#1 missfire)and when i did her new plugs 2 or 3 weeks ago,i noticed she had a lil bit of oil on the #1 plug,so i told here shes gonna need new spark plug o-rings as soon as she can afford them.
then today she calls me at work to say it feels like cylinder1 blew out.
so im thinking there might be oil in there...i know about the coil, wires, and plugs could cause this, but if the valve cover and spark plug gaskets dont do it,then there would be oil in there, right?
anyway, heres what i found http://www.modernperformance.com/pro...oducts_id=1359 ,cuz even if dont need the head gadket right now, atleast ill have it for later...
chime in and lemme know what you think.

If your buying from autozone, you can just ask them to print out a diagram and that should have the torque spes on it. You don't need ARP head studs unless you plan on taking the cylinder head off alot of times. A couple of us in here have a little bit of oil in our spark plug holes, as long as its not alot it shouldn't be a problem. Did you ever change the coil pack, wires and plugs?, try that first before you tear apart the motor.

Neons are well known for the tube seals going. I had it happen, along with the misfires. I replaced my valve cover gasket and all my tube seals, and haven't had a problems yet. To remove the tube seals, just take a flathead screw and put a dent in the side of it and it should pop out. Let me know how it goes, I should be around if you need anymore help.

yeah,i know about the coil and wires giving out alot,i have an 04 pt gt cruiser(gt srt-4 haha),so i know how those can be weak points.
as soon as i get them installed,i'll let ya know what goes on with her car,but also, she drives that car so crazy at times, like right now, shes over her oil change due date by 1500 miles!!! needless to say,she doesnt really take too good of care of that car.
