Default 2001 es/se difference??

Hi. I was just wondering if anyone here could tell me what the difference is between the 2001 es and the 2001 se?

I believe the se is the very basic model with no options, and the es is the next model up from that and you can get all the options except for engine choices. someone correct me if im wrong pls.

Thanks for the info...I've been looking for a replacement(it got wrecked on the highway) for my 01 ES "sport appearance" and have found a few identical looking cars advertised as SE. It's good to know that the ads are probably incorrect and will make my search easier.

didn't the ES become the SXT, in the later 03 and up models?

jesus christ.... what the hell drove over it a tank?!!? I'm selling my ES btw :-D The ES allowed you all the R/t options minus the High Output motor...
