Default 05 dodge neon engine question???????

How many miles thats a neon engine go up to i have 93k on my right now so im worried cuz i wanna fix it up but i dont know if is to late. Please help

all i know is that i had to replace my transmission 2 years ago and it had 100k.i blew the trani but i would say a stock motor can last for a long time.it all depends on who had it before you and how they treated her.im guessing 150k maybe....

I have seen some first gens with 200k on them... but not alot of them, 150k is a good bet

I really dont know alot bout cars but how can i find out wat kind of engine i have.

if you have an 05, then you have the 2.0L sohc. I think these motors are very reliable and will last at least 150K. I've ripped on mine many times and i have yet to damage the engine, and mine is at almost 100K.

dnt forget to do da timing belt, waterpump timing belt tensioner around 100 or that engine wont go past 120
