Default Just a suggestion

I agree with the thermostat idea, and maybe check the coolant level, not only in the overflow but check the pressure cap and make sure the system itself is full. If its a little low, it may take longer to get heat from the heater.

My fiancees 06 Corolla S blows out heat after 5-6 mins sitting. Mines takes awhile so I know I need a thermostat.

Yeah, mine gets to be a red **** hair above the second mark and stays there, regardless of what I do. If you want your engine (and subsequently, your car) to heat up faster, get a block heater. Then again, you're in Florida, so I have no idea. How long, exactly, does this take? Keep in mind, newer cars heat up faster, and different types of cars heat up differently.
