Mine is not the seat. Mine Squeaks faster as i speed up, then at about 40mph it will stop with the sound.. Almost like its going around so fast it wont make noise..

whenever i hear it's speed related i automatically think bearings but those make more of a squeal when they go same with the brake shoes/pads could be anything from the coils to shocks in the rear or something loose like the door hinges, handles something loose in the door panel the window regulator, deck lid hinges or maybe the speakers are loose or the "latch" child seat the plastic covers, i would try wiggling stuff or bouncing around in the back seat. The speed related thing may be that at lower speeds it doesn't move as fast up or down or whatever but as you speed up it moves fast enough that it doesn't make a sound or the wind noise and road noise cover it. hope that helps

Probably under brakes. It should be in the hub area as that is what spins on the bearing. Take the rotor off and you are obviously looking at the hub (holds the wheel studs). Remove that thing and it should be right there. Best to replace them in a pair.

Backing plates have a tendancy to rust and the shoes will not recess properly(your backing plate"s" are your shoes/springs/adjuster behind your drum). Spray it with brake clean and manually move the shoes back and forth. Pull your hubs while you are at it and look at the bearings as well. Set your brakes so that they BARELY rub when you spin the wheel(After you reassemble of course), apply your brakes a few times and spin your wheels again to see if the grab is still the same. If it isn't get new backing plates.

That's assuming you have drums and not rotors...

Just a little update. The car went to a mechanic today. And my dad was told that the squeaking was a warning that meant my front brakes pads will need replaced soon.

-Same thing with mine. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Drives me crazy! It sounds like an old bed spring squeaking when it does.
