i was driving and all of a sudden my check engion light came on. Cant figure out why. checked every fluid looks good. checked for codes and it just flashes 10 times. im guessing that means 55 which is good. but the light still stays on. I dont no what it could be. there are no pauses in between the flashes. I tried reseting the pcm. I cant find the 20A fuse. NEONS,org said to take the 20A fuse out to reset it. I took out a 20 fuse and all my radio station settings were changed so im guesssing it was it. any help?

 

now it said p and 4 numbers then afer that it said 0071 then it went ----

 

You can also disconnect the battery for about a half hour to reset it as well. It should give you a code like pxxxx and then when its done flash done on the screen. I think anyways, its been a really long time since I checked engine codes on my car...and I was doing that because I was the one creating the problems/check engine light.

 

yea i no that . im gunna do that. i just didnt want to wait a half hour but o well.

aliright i waited a half hour and connected the battery back up. the CHECK ENGION LIGHT went off. So im good to go. lets hope it doesnt go back on.
