This morning my 2003 dodge neon decided it was not going to move. I put it in reverse and it would not move until I revved it up. Same thing in drive. The trans fluid looks like it is at the right level and does not smell burnt. The car has 86,000 miles. I drove it all weekend with no problems. It has been very cold here the last two weeks but a little warmer this morning. Any ideas?
change the trans fluid and the filter... sometimes this is was causes it... if not, im sorry to say youll have to have it rebuilt or buy a new one.. i hope this helps you bro, gl
Sounds sorta like what mine was starting to do (at about 83K for me). Does it make any noise out of curiosity? How and when are you checking the fluid? If no noise, I'd say go with the above and try a fluid change first. They are very picky about the quality of the oil.
lol i remember roushes problem, it was rough haha.. i think he got his taken care of tho.. i forgot to add, im not sure if you have to have a specific brand of fluid, i would check up on that also
