Hey all, I have a 2000 with the SOHC 2.0L under the hood.
The car has a tick that seems to be coming from under the valve cover. Only happens after that car is warmed up, noticeable at idle and hard to hear at running speed but still faintly there.
I have been told that this is extremely common on these cars, and just wanted to know what all of you have done in the past that fixed this tick.
I have considered replacing the rocker arms, but don't want to if that is not the issue.
