I have 3 new pics since I dont have the money to get the black projectors and black taillights yet I gave the lights the nightshades treatment.I didnt do the actual headlights since the light output sucks as is.

 

i like the flat black shiney look.at least it shines ya know???

Thanks,I talked to a couple cops I know and they said while its not D.O.T. approved they said if I say I bought it that way I will just get a fix it ticket/warning I also have had cops behind me with no problems.I really want to put my SRT exhaust back on but I need to weld in a resonator in the straight pipe to quiet it down a little.When I get the change up I am going to buy the black halo projector headlights and black led taillights.I already have H.I.D. I just havent hooked it up I figured ill wait till I get the new lights.

 

Skyline = Favoritest car ever. I rather enjoy a good Skyline, although the R34 has a much better look.

 

im gona be doing my rims soon.im going to go with flat black and use like 6 clear coats to kinda bring out the shine but still have em black.

 

If you use clear over flat paint it wont be flat it will be gloss unless you use flat/matte clear.If you want black with gloss just go with normal black then use clear you can get gloss clear and cut it with a matting agent to knock the clear down a little if you want so it isnt so glossy.I want black rims but right now thats not even something I can think about buying with the economy and me going to school.


OH also if you plan on doing 6 coats of clear it would be a good idea to do 3 coats of clear let it dry wet sand it and do 3 more it will look flawless thats how I did my national.If you dont want to make them look like show quality then 3 coats of clear will also look excelent and mind you the only people who notice the difference are the ones who know what to look for.
