Unhappy Factory Fitted Alarm / Immobilizer - How to fix - Need HELP!

>> Sorry i posted in wrong forum so this is a duplicate <<

Hi All,
I have a 2001 Neon and when i lock the car the alarm / security device arms and the indicator on the dash board flashes rapidly as it should for 16 seconds.

Then the indicator goes out and flashes steady on and off. After the hazards have been flashing the red light flashes twice then pauses and repeats.

after approx 15-20 seconds the hazard lights flash approx 27 times and stop for approx 30 seconds then flash again approx 27 times, this repeats for around 10minutes before they stop flashes.

if i unlock the car the lights flash 3 times. The manual says this is to indicate someone has triggered the tamper warning, however ive been stood watching the car and no1 has been near it or attempt to do this at all.

also is there a way to test the auidable alarm also? ive tried leaving the window slightly open so i can unlock the car with the manual single door unlock switch and sat in the car waved my hand over the motion sensor but no siren goes off....

any ideas how to try find the cause and get the system working correctly again?

scanning the fault codes gave me p601 which is the PCM.
i removed this code and rescanned nothing... started the car and scanned... nothing
however after driving home the error was back.

While the code was not on the car i locked and enabled the alarm still same fault.

Ive waited for the tamper alert to finish its flashing and been sat in the car waved my hand over the sensors which are at the rear of the internal light .. the alarm failed to go off..

If anyone has any ideas please throw them my way to try locate the fault or at least narrow it down to how i locate where the tamper alter is raised from.

i have Neon SE 2.0l on Y Plate UK Model and has the factory fitted premium security device fitted

I'm not an expert with this stuff by any means, but getting the PCM code, maybe the computer is on it's way out the door?
