Default gauge cluster

anyone know if this would work with my car? it's a 2000, doesn't have the tach, and the layout is different, but i found this for really cheap... with shipping it would be $20 total

Nope, the auction specifies "with a tach".

i thought it might have been able to work because i read this on neons.org about not having a tach, "You can always just swap to a gauge cluster with a built in tach. It won't require any kind of modification at all." but i wasn't sure if it was the same for this one on ebay, but i guess it's different then... thanks

What you were looking at is just an overlay it's not the whole gauge cluster. If you find an actual gauge cluster you can get that overlay.

oic... wasn't really sure how the whole swapping of gauges worked, i'm gonna try and get my hands on an sxt or some other neon gauges that have a white face... from what i've read they should swap out no problem except the srt i would need an adapter for the tach to work... at least i hope i understand it correctly lol
