03 Getting behind the headunit/radio?
I bought a AUX input to RCA so I can hook up my mp3 player. How do I get behind there and plug it in? What do I have to do remove the radio cover or whatever? i don't want to go to best buy and spend $40 so someone can do it for me if I can do it myself.

I am curious about the installation!
I would have to assume you will have to pull your Radio out to get to the connections - atleast take appart some of your dash to get to the wire harness.
I bought the FM Transmitter for my MP3 Player so I would not have to deal with the installation you are about to go through. I am actually glad I did by the FM Transmitter - it allows me to take my MP3 player with me in any cars - even rental cars when I have to travel.

Pop out the 2 fan vents. They should just pop out. if needed use a small flat head screw driver and pry carefully from the side. there will be one screw behind each vent.unscrew them. then you can pull the trim off using a little force carefully. . Thene there will be 4 screws that hold the stereo in place, unscew the screws. and carefully pull the head unit out. Voila.
I went and tried, but I was afraid I was going to brake the piece of plastic in between the two fans. Do I pry them with a screw driver from the inside or the outside? I was tring from the inside. [&:]
You should see a piece where the fan vent clicks in towards the bottom. Pry from there. also at the same time pull from the front of the vent.
