I was browsing on ebay for a header and found one for 50 dollars. It says its made from T-304 mandrel bent stainless steel, and has a picture showing where the O2 sensors hook up. It looks legit, I even called the company and talked to someone about it. They couldnt tell me the gauge though, I asked if it was 16 or 14 gauge steel. Do you think it might be a good deal, or should I pass. I bought a cold air intake from the same company a while back for 50 dollars and it works great. Just wanted some input before I buy. Thanks

 

depends on the design...put up a link or a pic to look at. back when i had a header on my car, i had a obx which was great, and theres tseudo which is the same thing. theres also kirk and a few others. post up a pic or link so we can see what youre dealing with

I say go for it. the chrome will tarnish in time but other than that it looks ok.

 

well although im pretty sure they have the race pipe on backwards lol yea that looks fine. its the same design as teh kind that i had. it will turn a yellowish gold color though as you use it, but other than that its fine. if you are using the racepipe, you must first know that it is illegal for street in all states becasue it takes out the catalytic converter, and you will throw a code, but if you do the spark plug nonfouler trick, youll be fine

 

hey i ordered that header and pipe from Zomkspeed a couple of weeks ago, and they are worth the 100 bucks, you actually get everything in the picture. The only complaint i have about those headers is that they didnt exactly match up, so youll probably have to bend them a little to fit right. Other than that, theyre great.

After you got that header did you just use the header or did you use the race pipe too? I guess I could have the race pipe cut to fit and welded right to the cat.. Either that or I will just use the header and hook it up to the flange that is already there. That way I only have to take one O2 sensor out. I was thinking after this I was gonna get a venom 400 pcm module too.I already have a cold air intake, magnaflow exhaust, and now the header. SO the pcm module should compliment the other mods I would think. Do you guys think its worth it to get the pcm too?
