Default XTD Stage 1 cluth

So i got the engine runnin smoooooth as a babys ***...

Now when i press the clutch to put it in gear it acts as if the clutch isnt working...

Its a brand new Stage 1 XTD clutch, the throwout bearing of course is new also and came with the clutch...

I was wondering, when you upgrade your clutch to stage 1 from stock are you supposed to upgrade your clutch cable also?

The thing with the upgraded clutch is its alot stiffer and built stronger to keep from burnin it so fast, so maybe the stock cables aint strong enough to pull the fork back to engage the clutch....

I REALLLY do not wish to pull this motor and tranny again if you get my drift lol anyone know what this may be?

did u discontest the slave cylinder on the side of the tranny? lines, when u pulled the engine? the cables do not need to be upgraded for a clutch, but u could have air in the lines..... possibly needs to be bled

Soo got my clutch lined out, turns out when the guys at XTD painted the clutch case their trademark red, they didnt mask off the sides. Finally bumfuzzled cause i dropped my engine and tranny yet once again, I called a buddy up to come see if he could figure it out, He said ill bet you anything theirs paint making that clutch disc stick... so with a ratchet i turned the motor by the crank while he took a screw driver and gently freed the clutch disk, you could hear the paint crackle while it was giving. lol now to my satisfaction we put the tranny in gear and tested it, and now the clutch is working.

Whats sad is after i have tryed to solve this problem for so long, he was here 15 minutes and fixed it.... great to have buddies lol
