i thought the cobalt replaced the cavalier. I hated cavaliers, worse valve tick you ever heard in your life.

but good point tho... if they didnt bring back neons at least give another compact instead of the bulky boxs that are mini SUVs.

the G5 replaced the sunfire... although the G5 was just a cobalt with a different frontend... and the only cavaliers that had the really bad valve tick are the ones equipped with the old 2.2 OHV engine... yeah they are noisy and a lil down on power... but they run forever and parts are cheap for them... the 2.4 DOHC engine and all the ecotecs run quiet... the thing i hate about the cavaliers is all the electrical problems... my wife and i used to own an 03 with the 2.2 ecotec.. great running lil car got great milage 35-36mpg normal driving and was comfortable to drive long distances... just didn't like having to take the thing into the dealership all the time to get all the electrical problems fixed... in 6 months they has to reflash the ecu twice... replace the gauge cluster twice... replace the radio, replace the wiper motor and switch.... and countless other stupid things that should go wrong with a car that had less then 60k on it thank god for extended warrenties...

Think I have only seen 1 caliber in the "wild", all the rest seem like sad puppy's sitting on the lot waiting for someone to take them home. However it is hard to go anywhere without seeing around 5 to 10 neon's around here.
