Default question for those with a short throw shifter

i am looking into buying a short throw shifter, and need help deciding on which one will be the most effective. theres mopar performance and the cheapo ones. will the both be about the same. when i switch over to the short throw will i need to change my shift **** and boot? any recommendations or places to find one will be greatly appreciated

most short shifters u can swap over the boot and and ****, the maddog short shifter is one of the best and i heard good things of the mopar performance shifter also,

I have the mopar performance shifter and am very happy with it. I have heard nothing but good things about the maddog shifter as well. Never driven a car with one though.

Bought a B&M from a local. New in package about a week before purchasing a sts off ebay. When the ebay parts arrived, it was the exact same part as the B&M. B&M cost $110 new while the ebay part was $46. Sod the B&M and kept the ebay. Added some booger bushing for great success.

Yes, whatever you get to replace the stock shifter the booger bushings are a must!

i do not trust ebay, i would rather spend the money on something i am confident of the name..... granted i have thought about cheaping out and getting stuff on ebay before, but always just save my money to get what i really want.... why chance it
