yeah, I prefer a manual clutch, you are more connected to the car.

clutch fluid was low, put some more in. she did a little better today, but downshifting into 3rd is a pain. you know when you grind a gear on accident, well it does it in 3rd while the clutch is all the way in??? dont understand

It it when you are normal or high rpms. Mine does that sometimes when I shift at high rpms.

I usually have that problem when I try to put mine in first and i'm going to fast. That probably sounds bad....but like if I almost get stopped and I'm going like 10mph in 2nd sometimes I try and put it in first and it doesn't like to do that. But if I leave it in 2nd then I chug chug chug for awhile my car doesn't really like doing that either. I don't slam it into gear, I usually have to try once or twice and it will go without any grinding.

WELL WHEN I DOWNSHIFT IT'LL ONLY REALLY LET ME DO IT AT A CERTAIN SPEED, LIKE DOWNSHIFTING FROM 3RD TO 2ND, I'LL HAVE TO BE GOING LIKE AROUND 20MPH 1ST ONLY WHEN STOPPING OF COURSE, TODAY WAS A LITTLE BETTER ON NO GRINDING, IM NOT DOWNSHIFTING STUPIDLY LIKE AT 50MPH INTO 2ND OR SOMETHING A FEW TIMES ON ACCIDENT, BUT ONLY A FEW TIMES. MAYBE ILL JUST GET IT LOOKED AT LATER THIS WEEK

You shouldn't be having that hard of a time downshifting. Your synchros are probably going on you sadly enough. I downshift all the time and I have zero problems unless I'm doing something like I said in my post before this one where I'm going a bit fast and downshift into first. Otherwise mine downshifts smoothly with no grinds whatsoever. I'd get it looked at if you just filled your fluid.

I would get it looked at. I'm not sure on the cost of it. But I would have it checked out, just tell whoever your mechanic is what is going on. They will probably know what the problem is and how much it will set you back.
