I got a crappy header off of ebay, that I had to send back cause it didnt fit. I am looking for a direct fit header that will hook up to the 4 bolt stock exhaust flange. Does anyone know what is out there besides pacetter? I would appreciate any info as I am extremely frustrated.

 

pacesetter isn't a direct fit either, i got one. the only one i know of is the borla header or mag header off the r/t. those will b a direct bolt on

 

Thanks for the reply man. One thing that is weird on my car is that the stock manifold had a cat converter built in. The convertor was melted and burnt out when I took it off. My neon is a 2000, so for whatever reason they decided to put a cat on the manifold and then a 2nd cat on the exhaust side. Pacesetter seems to be the only one I can find online. I ended up getting a dorman replacement exhaust manifold. It looks similar to a header except its made of cast iron. I think it will be better than what was on there anyways as it had some funky barrel on the end with a cat in it. So anywho I guess I am allset..

 

yea i thought pacestter was a direct fit but it wasnt, then i found out about the borla header which is no longer in production and then i heard the r/t header is like the borla header and direct fit, i at one point had a borla header but ended up selling it
