You think a bad fuse would cause the ECM to pop out error messages though?

 

i am not sure about codes, i do not think it does, i do not remember seeing a check engine light on in my car, but when it did not start that was the second thing i checked.... lol

 

i had no clue there was a second fuse box. there were two fuses out one for the rear window defroster and the other was the problem. cheap fix, almost bought a pcm $$$$. glad i checked this forum one last time before heading to the parts store.

Glad you found the fix before ordering a PCM! You know which fuse it was, or the number at least? Just in case this pops up again in the future?
